Volunteer Community Outreach Worker (Honorarium Available)

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and community-minded individuals to help promote our programs and services to newcomers, families, youth, and community members. As a Volunteer Community Outreach Worker, you will represent our organization at community events and help connect people with valuable resources and opportunities.
Responsibilities
Attend community fairs, festivals, and outreach events.
Promote the organization's programs, services, and activities.
Engage with newcomers, families, youth, and community members.
Distribute brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
Answer general questions about our services and volunteer opportunities.
Assist with event registration and participant engagement.
Build positive relationships with community members and partners.
Gather feedback and identify community needs.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with the public.
Passion for supporting newcomers, youth, and families.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Multilingual skills are considered an asset.
Support Honorarium
To recognize your time and contribution, volunteers who participate in approved outreach events will receive a $50 honorarium/support payment per event.
