Calgary Girls Choir

Since its founding in 1995 by Artistic Director Elaine Quilichini, the Calgary Girls Choir (CGC) has inspired girls and young women to meet the creative challenge of choral music performance. ". The CGC provides quality musical education, vocal training, and performance opportunities. Based on the Kodály philosophy where the human voice is viewed as the fundamental and essential instrument for developing the child musician, chorister training includes cultivating the ear, taste, and a passion for music.
