The Folk Festival Society is a not-for-profit and registered charitable organization founded in 1980 that produces music and cultural events all year: a summer festival, Calgary Folk Music Festival since 1980; a winter festival, Block Heater since 2016; educational programming such as our annual Boot Camp; and concerts at our own venue, Festival Hall in Inglewood, as well as partner venues across Calgary.
