Calgary Co-operative Memorial Society

The Calgary Co-operative Memorial Society (CCMS) was formed in 1966 as a member-owned co-operative of like-minded people who respect the need for a simple, dignified alternative to the elaborate and increasingly costly funeral services promoted by the conventional funeral industry.

We are a non-profit, non-sectarian organization, operated by a 12-member volunteer Board of Directors. Members receive materials that help them to plan their wishes and record needed information.

Members also have access to substantially-discounted prices for funeral services.
