Seeking Volunteer for Laptop Hinge and Screen Repair

Our organization relies on laptops for all aspects of our operations, and we currently have several machines in need of hardware repair. This volunteer role is crucial for keeping our team equipped and our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues on various laptop models.

2.Perform physical repairs, including fixing and replacing broken screen hinges.

3.Replace damaged laptop monitor bezels (the "monitor edge").

4.Install and replace full laptop monitor assemblies.

5.Assist with other general hardware repairs and component replacements as needed.

We are looking for a volunteer who:

1.Has proven experience with laptop hardware repair.

2.Is comfortable disassembling and reassembling laptops.

3.Is familiar with the specific tasks of replacing screen components and fixing structural issues like hinges.

4.Is patient, methodical, and has strong problem-solving skills.
