Calgary Bluesfest couldn’t happen without the dedication and hard work of its volunteers! They have been the driving force of this event’s success over the last 19 years.

Main Event Days: August 1, 2, 3, 4
Setup Days: July 28, 29, 30, 31
Strike: August 5 (Holiday Monday) & 6

Currently seeking help with all areas including: Security, Box Office, Drink Ticket Sales, Count Room and much more!

Security has the most opening and shifts are: 
Sat Aug 3 & Sun Aug 4 11am - 6pm or 4pm - 10:30pm ish
Thu Aug 1 & Fri Aug 2 3pm-10:30pm ish
Late night at Kerby Centre 9pm - 1:30am ish. all 4 days Aug 1, 2, 3, 4.

Volunteer Requirements:
– perform a minimum of two shifts or three if doing short shifts
– attend the orientation in advance of the event (Wed July 31, 6pm)

*Volunteers who contribute 16 hours receive a t-shirt and a 4-day festival pass.

All volunteers are required to attend the volunteer orientation before the festival to meet their team leads, learn where to enter/exit during the festival and where they will pick up ID & t-shirts on their first shift
