The Calgary Neuropathy Association is an educational support group and a place to connect for with those living with neuropathy, neuropathic pain and for their caregivers. We have resources available on our website for all Calgarians. We provide opportunities to learn about the condition so people can take an active role in its management.

We also raise awareness around Neuropathy and its impact
· Neuropathy is not well understood, even within the medical community. It is hidden as a symptom within 100+ conditions. The CNA aims to raise awareness that Neuropathy is a condition on it’s own, and to recognize the impact it has on people's physical, mental, social, and spiritual health in the hopes of:
o Making it a priority for research
o Informing the medical community so they can better understand and individually treat people with Neuropathy
o Helping people understand they can manage with positive outcomes increasing the quality of their daily lives…provide hope
o Provide support for family and those also impacted by knowing and/or living with someone with Neuropathy (both family and health care providers)

Ultimately would are striving to create a 'CNA Legacy Fund'
· The association wants to back up our vision of increased research and education/support for Neuropathy. A long term goal is to develop a fund that will be used to support research and education. This will be either in the medical and/or wellness domains.
