Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist

We are proud to be holding the 2nd edition of our fashion show brunch on Saturday, June 1, from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Adults and children take part in the runways!

Buds in Bloom is looking for 2 to 5 Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists/group preferred to help 20 models accent their beauty. The Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists will join the Events Team with our sponsor manager, project coordinator and other volunteers. The Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists must have background and experience in rapid makeup and hair styling for groups. 

Responsibilities:
With the Events Committee team members, the Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists  are responsible for:
1- planning and launching the event with the team to meet the target of $10,000 profit
2- helping prepare models through Makeup and Hair Styling (12-15 adults & 5-7 children)
3- touching up Makeup and Hair as needed
4- effectively working with the fashion show/ event planner, so that the Runway Show is stunning
5- helping with other fashion show planning such as securing silent auction items, decorations, swag. 

Having an ease and proven results in group makeup or hair styling, and strong communication with stakeholders, your superior and the team are required.

The change you will bring with your volunteering is raised awareness of and funds for the cause, in turn facilitating relief, hope, empowerment and connection in families living with a neurodiverse child.

Time Commitment: 3-4 hours per week. Weekly meetings are held mainly online (30-60 minutes). Email and phone communications in between meetings are also used as needed. Scheduling is flexible. A long term mandate is preferred.
