The Government of Alberta established Bow Habitat Station to support Alberta Environment and Park’s priority to protect and enhance the province’s environment and ecosystems to ensure a sustainable future.

Through immersive experiences, interactive displays, hands-on programs and outreach initiatives with partner organizations, Bow Habitat Station aims to:
- Foster an awareness and appreciation of Alberta’s air, land, water and biodiversity.
- Provide Albertans with direct access to environmental education opportunities that increase environmental literacy, encourage systems thinking, and inspire stewardship action at a personal and community level.
- Provide programs that are immersive, hands-on experiences using current, relevant and industry-supported education strategies (such as multi-disciplinary learning and place-based applications) to school, group and public visitors of all ages and abilities.
- Maintain low cost, easy to access and client focused front-line opportunities.
- Develop and deliver programs that engage Albertans from across the province.

Volunteers opportunities include direct engagement with the public and behind the scenes tasks - there is truly something for everyone!
