Mealtime Companion with Seniors

Bethany Care Society has sites throughout central and southern Alberta, including Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Didsbury, Airdrie and 3 in Calgary (NE, NW & SE). All locations welcome volunteers who enjoy interacting with and providing support to seniors. Mealtime Companions improve the dining experience for residents. You will help by supporting and encouraging them with the eating process. This role provides basic feeding and plays an important part in improving quality of life. Support is provided by the Care Team.

We ask that Volunteers:
•	be willing to obtain a Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search
•	be responsible and patient, compassionate, and demonstrate professionalism
