Mealtime Companion with Seniors

Bethany Care Society has locations across central and southern Alberta, including Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Didsbury, Airdrie, and three in Calgary (NE, NW, and SE). Every site welcomes volunteers who enjoy spending time with and supporting seniors. As a Mealtime Companion, you’ll help make dining a better experience for residents by offering encouragement and assistance during meals. This role involves helping with basic feeding and plays an important part in improving residents’ quality of life. You’ll have support from the Care Team at all times.

We ask that Volunteers:
•	be willing to obtain a Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search
•	be responsible and patient, compassionate, and demonstrate professionalism
