Volunteer Translator / Interpreter

As a volunteer interpreter/translator, you'll help immigrant women and families communicate clearly during ANIW's programs.

What we're looking for:
- Comfortable speaking and understanding English at a conversational to advanced level
- Strong interpretation and interpersonal skills
- Respectful of client confidentiality at all times
- Sensitive to the diverse cultural, social, and educational backgrounds of the people you're supporting
- Reliable and able to commit to a consistent schedule

No prior interpreting experience is required. We want our participants to have someone they can communicate through and feel understood by.
