Sewing Program Volunteer

Join ANIW’s Sewing Program and help create a welcoming, supportive space where participants can learn, connect, and build confidence through sewing! 🧵✨

As a Sewing Program Volunteer, you’ll support our ongoing evening sewing classes by helping with class preparation and set-up, welcoming participants, answering questions, supporting the instructor, assisting with class logistics, and encouraging participants to learn and help one another.

You don’t need to be a sewing expert! We’re looking for friendly, patient, reliable, and enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy working with people and are willing to learn. Whether you already love sewing or are simply curious to learn something new, you’ll be part of a fun and inclusive community environment.

Volunteer Details:

Classes run Monday–Thursday, 6:00–9:00 PM
Choose the day(s) that work best for your availability
Location: ANIW Office, 1409 Edmonton Trail NE, Calgary

Additional Details & Skills Required
Our sewing classes run Monday to Thursday, 6:00 - 9:00 PM. You can choose the day(s) that work best for your schedule. You’re welcome to volunteer for one day or multiple days! The shift time is 6:00–9:00 PM.
Certification or Education Required
First Aid is much appreciated (nice-to-have)
