Volunteers support the residents at AgeCare Arbutus Care centre through one-to-one companion visits; including playing cards, chatting, participating together in recreation programs, or other activities as mutually decided between AgeCare, the resident and volunteer. Volunteers assist the Recreation team with meaningful engagement while maintaining a fun environment. The Recreation Volunteer will model behavior that demonstrates AgeCare’s guiding principles: Trust, Respect, Quality and Teamwork.
