Are you a creative individual with an interest in designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites? If yes, come volunteer with us! 
As a Web Developer, you will assist BDF with the building and operation of our website.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
●	Create and maintain website
●	Monitor website traffic
●	Design user interfaces and navigation menus
●	Design and develop graphics
●	Write and review code for sites, typically WordPress, CMS Joomla, PHP, HTML, CSS, 
JavaScript or WordPress theme design
●	Integrate multimedia content onto a site
●	Create and test applications, interfaces, and navigation menus for a website
●	Troubleshoot problems with performance or user experience
●	Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders
●	Work with other team members to determine what information the site will contain
●	Integrate graphics, audio, and video into the website

SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE:
●	Must be self-motivated and able to work independently 
●	Interest in non-profit work, international issues and philanthropy
●	Understanding User Interface and User Experience Design
●	Ability to use graphic design software
●	Strong understanding of web server software, databases and content management systems
●	Minimum 2 years proven experience in the following areas: WordPress, CMS Joomla, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress theme design
●	Understanding of web development concepts, deployment, and testing experience
●	Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, Google AdWords and Google Analytics
●	Meticulous attention to detail is required
●	Strong communication and collaboration skills
