Position Overview
Better Days Foundation, a Calgary-based nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every child heads to school prepared—with a warm lunch, proper supplies, and a winter jacket—seeks a Program Coordinator (Volunteer). In this role, you'll be the face of our organization in meetings, oversee volunteer programs, assist in hiring, manage administrative tasks, and leverage your skills in AI, databases, Excel, and Google Workspace to elevate our impact.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the Foundation in external and internal meetings with partners, community organizations, and stakeholders.

Recruit and onboard volunteers—sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and providing orientation.

Coordinate volunteer assignments, ensuring smooth operations and meaningful engagement.

Handle general administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and documentation.

Build and maintain a volunteer database; leverage AI tools for automation, reporting, and data insights.

Generate reports and maintain data in Excel and Google Sheets; design dashboards as needed.

Manage Google Workspace tools—Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar—for streamlined communication and collaboration.
