Active Start/FUNdamentals Program Leader

Volunteer Opportunity: Active Start & Fundamentals Program Leader (Burnaby)
Are you passionate about helping children develop essential motor and sport skills in a fun, safe environment?  
Join us as a **Program Leader** for the Active Start and FUNdamentals programs at SOBC Burnaby!

**About the Programs:**  
- **Active Start:** A 12-week, family-centered activity program for children aged 2-6 with intellectual disabilities. Children learn basic motor skills such as walking, running, jumping, and throwing through engaging and safe activities. This program helps build confidence and promotes physical and mental development.

- **FUNdamentals:** For children aged 7-11, this program transitions from basic movement skills to sport-specific skills like soccer, softball, basketball, and track & field. It combines skill development, fun activities, and introductory nutrition education to prepare children for future participation in community or traditional Special Olympics programs.

**Schedule & Location:**  
- **Date:** Thursdays  
- **Time:** 7:00 - 8:30 pm  
- **Location:** Kitchener School, 1351 Gilmore Ave., Burnaby
