Director of Curriculum Development

4 hours / weekly
Ongoing
This role is open to any student in grade 9-12 as of September 2026, globally! As the Director of Curriculum Development, you will be responsible for overseeing Project WealthWise's entire financial literacy curriculum for youth - this includes managing the Curriculum Developer team, making slideshows and activities on different concepts e.x. budgeting to be presented in chapter sessions (tailored to different age groups), and supervising the progress of specific initiatives such as the Finance Beginner Basic Series (short financial lessons on different concepts posted across digital platforms). A prior substantial knowledge of personal finance is very ideal, however researching and learning the basics of different concepts and using sources such as Khan Academy to develop lessons is also suitable. You should also be able to ensure lessons are engaging and understandable for the age groups they are tailored to.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
As the Director of Curriculum Development, you not only gain high school volunteer hours and experience, but you also hold the role of a monumental leadership position within an organization striving to reach a global scale! This not only helps massively with resume building, but also contributes to the development of skills such as leadership and communication which are vital for success in adulthood. You also get to build connections and network with other like-minded high schoolers!
