Volunteer Drivers Needed for Senior Outings

We are looking for volunteer drivers who can help transport and accompany our seniors on upcoming outings. Volunteers will be asked to drive their own vehicle and accompany residents during the outing. Requirements Must have your own vehicle Must have a valid class 5 B.C. Driver's Licence Must have valid vehicle insurance Must be comfortable driving seniors and assisting them during the outing Our organization also provides additional insurance coverage for volunteer drivers while volunteering on behalf of the organization. If you are interested in helping with any of the following outings, please check your schedule and contact the volunteer Liaison at the Nikkei Seniors Health Care & Housing Society.(volunteer@nikkeishc.com) 1. Lunch & Shopping at Royal City Centre Date: First Tuesday Time: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM Details: We are looking for volunteer drivers to transport and accompany residents for a lunch and shopping outing at Royal City Centre. 2. Visit to the Canadian Chinese Museum Date: Wednesday, September 9 Time: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM Details: We are looking for 1 volunteer driver to transport and accompany residents for a visit to the Canadian Chinese Museum. 3. Casino Outing Date: Third Tuesday, Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Details: We are looking for 1 volunteer drivers to transport and accompany residents on a casino and lunch outing at a casino in Burnaby. If you are available and interested in supporting our seniors, we would greatly appreciate your help!
