We are looking for outgoing individuals who are passionate about helping the community and reducing food waste. Our mission is to provide healthy food to those in need, and this wouldn't be possible without our dedicated volunteers. Get involved and join our growing volunteer community! Locations: *8345 Winston Street, Burnaby *3454 Lougheed Hwy, Vancouver Opportunities: *Fresh Food Sort *Food Preservation *Food Distribution *Warehouse Support *AND MORE! General Requirements: *Be at least 15 years old *Be a resident of British Columbia (can work or study in B.C.) *Attend a mandatory in-person volunteer orientation *Complete a Criminal Record Check through the GVFB Commitment: We’re accepting volunteer applications for individuals who can support us consistently from December to February. Experience behind the scenes at the GVFB while supporting our mission of providing healthy food to those in need. Shift Times: Morning, afternoon, and evening- flexible scheduling is offered!
