Garnet for Burnaby is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy volunteer to support campaign fundraising efforts. Fundraising is essential to running an effective and competitive city council campaign. This role supports small donor outreach, event coordination, and pledge tracking to ensure the campaign has the resources needed to reach voters across Burnaby. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable communicating with supporters. ⸻ What will the Volunteer be doing? • Assisting with coordination of small donor events • Tracking pledges and maintaining organized records • Supporting phone outreach to potential supporters • Following up with donors in a professional manner • Helping ensure compliance with campaign finance guidelines This is a behind-the-scenes leadership support role. ⸻ What skills do you need from Volunteers? • Strong organization skills • Professional communication • Comfortable speaking on the phone • High level of discretion and integrity • Reliable and detail-oriented • Basic spreadsheet familiarity (Excel/Numbers/Google Sheets) No prior political experience required.
