Campaign Ground Team Volunteer – Community Outreach
Garnet for Burnaby is building a strong grassroots ground team to connect directly with residents across the city. This role is ideal for individuals who believe in community-first leadership and want to play a visible, hands-on role in a local city council campaign. Ground team members are the backbone of the campaign — helping ensure our message reaches neighborhoods, businesses, and families across Burnaby. If you enjoy being active, meeting people, and making a direct impact, this role is for you. ⸻ What will the Volunteer be doing? • Door knocking in assigned neighborhoods • Delivering campaign flyers • Installing and removing lawn signs • Assisting with event setup and takedown • Supporting community outreach efforts • Representing the campaign in a respectful, professional manner This is real voter contact — the most important part of any campaign. ⸻ What skills do you need from Volunteers? • Comfortable speaking with people • Reliable and punctual • Physically able to walk neighborhoods and lift signs • Positive attitude • Calm under pressure • Respectful communication skills No political experience required.
