Hike for Hospice 2026 - Fundraising, Donations, Event Planning

4-10 hours / weekly
-
On Sunday, May 3, 2026, thousands of people across Canada will walk in support of the annual Hike for Hospice. Last year, with the help of volunteers and community partners, we were able to raise $50,000+ and have 250 participants for Hike for Hospice 2025 here in Burnaby.

This year, our goal is to raise $75,000 and have 500+ participants join us, so we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of 1000+ individuals and families facing end-of-life and grief in our community.

We are looking for amazing volunteers who have knowledge & enthusiasm for fundraising, seeking donations, and promoting our event to invite as many participants at our Hike for Hospice 2026.

You can work from home, or have your very own office, located in 4535 Kingsway, Burnaby (very close from Metrotown). If you are interested in this exciting role or have any questions, please contact Youngmin at youngmin.koo@burnabyhospice.org or give us a call at 604-520-5087 (ext. 3).

Thank you so much for your time and interest! Hike for Hospice - Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Central Park (3883 Imperial St.), Burnaby BC.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteer hours, letter of recommendation, your own office, flexible hours, amazing staff to work with, and a feeling of making a major difference in the community of Burnaby!
