Summer Camp Program Volunteer

Volunteers support summer camp staff in delivering a safe, organized, and engaging program for children ages 5–10. Responsibilities include assisting with check-in/out, setting up activity spaces, supporting supervision and attendance tracking, and helping with transitions between activities.
Volunteers also engage children in activities, assist during outings and field trips, promote positive behavior and inclusion, and help maintain a clean and safe environment while working collaboratively with staff.

Location and hours: 
6140 McKercher Ave, Burnaby
Mon- Fri / 8:00am – 6:00pm

Available Shifts:
10:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday for a minimum commitment of two consecutive weeks, or
2–3 days per week over the course of one month.

Skills and Experience: 
•	Experience working with children is an asset
•	Enjoy interacting and feel comfortable around young children
•	Reliable and committed

Other requirements: 
•	Good reference checks
•	Successful completion of criminal record check
•	16 years and up
