UWGH Annual UPS Plane Pull & Campaign Kick-Off
Join us as we kick-off the 2026 United Way Golden Horseshoe campaign, raising funds for our impact work including funding a network of over 200 social service programs. Over 100 teams will pull an Airplane across the Hamilton airport UPS tarmac in support of United Way. Volunteers are needed to support the kids zone, parking lots, and kids plane pull!

We will have a meeting prior to the event to inform all volunteers of their roles and responsibilities.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
You will be supervising games for the kids, helping with parking, supporting the kids plane pull activity, or general cleanup and maintenance to keep the area clean and free from debris that could fly on the tarmac. Note: this is a rain or shine event and involves standing and being outside. Two shifts are available: 1) 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM and 2) 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM
