Financial Inclusion Lead (Volunteer)
This volunteer leadership role will oversee and support programs designed to reduce financial barriers and strengthen long-term community impact, including: - Financial literacy workshops delivered with CPA professionals and community partners - Free income tax filing and government benefits access initiatives - Financial education and budgeting programs - Community outreach and empowerment initiatives - Educational and opportunity-based programs including a Scholarship Program and a Student Success Fund - Future pathways-to-opportunity initiatives The successful candidate will play a key role in building sustainable and scalable community programs while creating partnerships and leading volunteer engagement efforts. Key Responsibilities 1) Program Leadership & Development - Lead the planning, implementation, and growth of The Suri Foundation Financial Inclusion initiatives - Develop annual objectives, program priorities, and impact goals - Identify opportunities for new programs and strategic partnerships - Create systems and processes that support long-term program sustainability - Recommend innovative programs and initiatives aligned with the Foundation's mission 2) Financial Literacy Program Management - Coordinate financial literacy workshops and educational initiatives - Recruit, onboard, and support volunteer CPA professionals as facilitators - Coordinate workshop schedules, logistics, registrations, and participant engagement - Ensure program content remains accessible and relevant to community needs - Support development of multilingual and culturally inclusive programming where possible 3) Education & Opportunity Initiatives - Support implementation and growth of educational access and opportunity-based initiatives under the foundation - Coordinate with schools, educational organizations, and community partners - Assist in the rollout and administration of the Scholarship Program for students facing financial barriers - Support implementation of the School Students Success Fund - Monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for future program expansion 4) Community Partnerships & Outreach - Build and maintain relationships with CPA professionals, educational institutions, scholarship and educational support organizations, newcomer and settlement agencies, local businesses and community partners - Represent the foundation at meetings, community events, and partnership discussions where appropriate - Support outreach efforts to increase awareness and community participation 5) Volunteer Leadership - Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of volunteers - Foster a collaborative and positive volunteer environment - Provide mentorship and guidance to volunteers supporting program delivery - Help build a culture of engagement and impact 6) Reporting & Impact Measurement - Monitor participation and program outcomes - Develop and track impact metrics - Provide periodic updates and recommendations to TSF leadership

Experience leading programs, projects, or community initiatives Experience working with volunteers Strong communication and relationship-building skills Strong organizational and project management abilities Passion for community impact and financial inclusion Ability to work independently and collaboratively Experience working with diverse communities Additional language skills are highly valued, particularly Arabic
