Ongoing
Who We Are For 20 years, The Gift of Giving Back (GOGB) has been inspiring youth to step up, give back, and make a difference. What began with a little red wagon and a dream has grown into one of Canada’s largest community food drives. Together with schools, sports teams, community groups, and generous donors, we’ve collected millions of pounds of food for local agencies—helping families right here at home. Our Mission To inspire, support, educate, and empower youth to compassionately give back by collecting food and funds for our network of member agencies serving families in their local communities. Our Vision We envision a future without food insecurity—where youth lead with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to service. We believe in building stronger communities where no one goes hungry. ________________________________________ About the Role We are seeking a Volunteer Director to join our Board of Directors and play a pivotal role in advancing GOGB’s mission. The Volunteer Director leads the coordination, engagement, and retention of volunteers across all organizational activities, ensuring every volunteer has a meaningful and rewarding experience.
