Come join us on October 3, 2026 for our annual Seeds of Joy Festival! It will feature a live musical recital, guided meditation, sharing ancient knowledge and the “tree of life” self-realization experience and an energy workshop benefitting all participants. We need volunteers from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. The event will be happening from 2- 3:30 pm. We need help with: -- Event promotion -- venue and technical Setup -- Behind-the-Scenes Media: Capture preparation photos/videos for our social media. -- Welcoming the guests: Give flyers, collect information -- Media Coverage: Take photos and videos for social media and event promotion. -- Attendee Engagement: Collect feedback and email sign-ups for Her 16 E.M.Powers from attendees. We will provide volunteer hours for all the hours you spend with us! For the last 20 years, our group of dedicated volunteers have continued on their mission to nurture inner peace and joy leading to (mental/emotional/physical) self-realization through inclusive, creative and engaging culture & wellness-oriented experiences; always free and open to all! In 2023 at our annual Free Festival of New Beginnings which took place at the Art Gallery of Burlington, the Burlington Mayor launched our community initiative called “100 Seeds of Joy”. Since its launch, this initiative has delivered over 450 free community workshops annually across Halton, integrating meditation, arts, cultural expression, and wellness practices. Our efforts have been recognized through several community honors, including: The 2024 Halton Volunteer Impact Award The 2025 Community Spirit Award (presented by MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos) The 2025 Civic Recognition Award from the City of Burlington
