Volunteer Photographer for Fundraising Events
Halton Women's Place (HWP) is the only women's shelter in Halton Region serving women and children fleeing domestic violence. With shelters in Milton and Burlington and a satellite office in Georgetown, we work in partnership with survivors and our community to build a supportive network and drive collective impact. HWP holds three major fundraisers each year, as well as many smaller events in between to help raise funds and build awareness for our services. We are seeking a talented photographer who would be willing to volunteer their time to help us capture the magic, memories, and special moments of our events. From our annual fundraising gala in February, to our June golf tournament, to our Hope in Every Step walk that kicks off Women Abuse Prevention Month in November, our events are varied and dynamic. If you’re passionate about storytelling through photography and giving back to the community, we’d love to hear from you!
