Volunteer with Leaps in Literacy – Terryberry Library
We’re seeking volunteers to support the Leaps in Literacy program at Terryberry Library (100 Mohawk Rd W, Hamilton, ON L9C 1W1).
This program provides one-on-one literacy tutoring for children and youth, and volunteers play an important role in keeping the program running smoothly.
Details:
Days: Mondays and/or Tuesdays
Time: 3:45 PM – 6:15 PM
Location: Terryberry Library, 100 Mohawk Rd W, Hamilton
Volunteer Role Includes:
✔ Greeting families and helping students find their assigned tutor
✔ Directing parents to the designated waiting area
✔ Assisting with light supervision as students wait for pickup
✔ Supporting set-up and clean-up of the space
