Time: 4:45 pm -7:45 pm

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and youth? Join the Centre for Diverse Learners (formerly the Learning Disabilities Association of Halton-Hamilton) as a volunteer for our Mastering Mathematics program!

Our multi-sensory math program is specifically designed to support neurodiverse students in grades 2-10 who face challenges with basic numeracy concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and algebra.

As a Math Program Volunteer, you will:
- Work directly with small groups of 2-4 students in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Support students with one-on-one assistance, when needed, under the guidance of our skilled educators.
- Help with program logistics like drop-off and pick-up, and ensure students feel safe and supported.
- Provide positive reinforcement and assist students during body breaks.

Requirements:
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Check dated within the last 12 months.
- Completion of mandatory volunteer training.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
