Homework Health Volunteer @ WHITE OAKS LIBRARY
Make a Difference! Are you passionate about supporting children and youth in their learning journey? Join us as a Homework Health Volunteer and help neurodiverse students build confidence, develop academic skills, and succeed in a supportive environment. What You’ll Do: - Assist educators with homework support & learning activities - Provide one-on-one or small-group guidance - Help with program safety & student transitions - Foster a positive & inclusive atmosphere - Arrive 15 minutes early to prepare Who We’re Looking For: - MUST BE 18+ years old with reliable transportation - Passion for education & youth development - Experience with children or diverse learners (an asset, not required) - Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check & Plan to Protect training Schedule: Tuesday and/or Thursday 3:00 – 5:00 PM 1070 McCraney St E, Oakville, ON L6H 2R6
