Zero Waste Event Event Crew [Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026]
We are looking for volunteers to help during our Fall Zero Waste event. The event includes an outdoor drive-thru Zero Waste Drop-Off and Indoor Zero Waste activities. During the outdoor drive-thru event, community members drive up in their vehicles to drop off electronics for proper recycling. During the indoor activities, volunteers will help guide attendees through various activities. 📅 Date: Sat., October 17, 2026 🕒Shift(s): 9:00 am - 1:00 pm; 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm 📍Location: Burlington Mall Parking Lot (corner of Fairview and Guelph Line) This is an outdoor event that runs rain or shine. If you sign up, please be prepared to work rain or shine. We ask volunteers to commit to attend. To sign-up, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/qkSs41fVQyEsuTku9 ✅Volunteer Tasks may include: Assisting with set up or take down Unload vehicles and bring items to the truck nearby Serving as a friendly BG Ambassador welcoming the community, unloading vehicles, etc. Directing community members to the entrance / exits Helping guide community members through Zero Waste activities at the indoor Zero Waste Activity location (in Burlington Mall) Other tasks as needed Accommodation requests You will be standing for periods of time (okay to bring a folding chair if needed).
