Motivational Speaker - Volunteer

STEM Canada is a registered not for profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

Needs:
We are seeking a motivational speaker to deliver a workshop or chat to students, aged 10 to 17 years old, around the importance of STEM, related educational content, practical and applicable skills, leadership, success in the STEM sector, etc.

Requirements:
•	Understand the challenges faced by females and visible minorities in the STEM sector.
•	Be an advocate for STEM areas of study and have knowledge of leadership, requirements, and materials needed for success.
•	Know the recipe for success and leadership and be able to deliver a 30 minute or 1 hour session on leadership, education, and motivation to students in high school.

Our ideal candidate would be a university student enrolled in a STEM related major, a graduate from a STEM program at university or college, or someone who is employed in the areas of science, technology, engineering, or math.

We are looking for availability of 30 minutes to 1.5 hours (flexible depending on the length of your session/workshop/speech/delivery) for any Saturday between now and December 2023 between the hours of 11 am and 2pm eastern.
