557 RCACC Support Committee

The Army Cadet Program is a free of charge youth program for boys and girls aged 12 to 18, and is partially funded by the Department of National Defense, however, not all operational and program costs are covered. To maintain a great experience for our Cadets, numerous additional expenses must be covered by our volunteer Support Committee.

The 557 Support Committee is comprised of 16 parent and community volunteers tasked with providing suitable accommodations for cadet training and activities, managing cadet funds, promoting the Cadet Program to the community and fundraising initiatives at the community level to support the Cadets of the 557 Lorne Scots Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps.
