Adult Day Program Volunteer
Adult Day Program Volunteer Position Summary The Adult Day Program Volunteer plays an important role in creating a welcoming, engaging, and supportive environment for individuals living with dementia. Working alongside Alzheimer Society staff, volunteers help participants enjoy meaningful activities, build social connections, and experience a sense of belonging while providing caregivers with valuable respite and peace of mind. Note This volunteer position is supportive in nature and does not involve providing personal care, administering medications, or lifting or transferring participants. Participants must be early to mid-stage in their diagnosis. Volunteers work under the guidance and supervision of Alzheimer Society staff at all times.
