Bafoussam AB

The Cameroon Association of Active Youths (CAMAAY) is a non political, non religious, non profit organization committed to empowering young people and communities to contribute meaningfully to social and economic development in Cameroon and beyond.

CAMAAY envisions a society where every individual has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and participate in building resilient and equitable communities. Our work focuses on sustainable community development through education, youth engagement, health promotion, environmental awareness, and access to accurate information and resources.

We believe that lasting change is achieved through strong community participation, collaboration, and respect for human dignity. Our initiatives are designed and implemented with local communities, supported by a global network of dedicated volunteers and partners.

Guided by principles of equity, inclusion, and social responsibility, CAMAAY works alongside other associations, institutions, and organizations to address key challenges such as poverty reduction, access to education and healthcare, environmental protection, and youth empowerment. Our work aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and reflects our commitment to building healthier, safer, and more sustainable futures for communities.

Volunteers are central to CAMAAY’s mission. By joining our team, volunteers become part of a collective effort to create practical solutions, amplify community voices, and drive positive change at the grassroots level.
