You can set your own schedule
We are looking for volunteer drivers in the County of Athabasca and/or Lac La Biche. They will pick up our clients at their homes and take them to their cancer related appointments. After waiting for the appointment to finish, they will drive the client back to their home.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Our volunteers are able to claim mileage expenses at rates set by the CRA every year. Currently it is 70 cents per KM for the first 5,000KM then 68 cents per KM after that. They may also claim meal and parking expenses.
