Adult Volunteer-Youth Volunteer Corps
The Adult Volunteer supports Volunteer Airdrie’s Youth Volunteer Corps by attending volunteer activities alongside youth ages 11–18. This role provides additional adult supervision, leadership, and positive role modelling while helping ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for youth participants. Key Responsibilities: -Attend YVC volunteer activities and community service projects with youth participants -Act as an additional set of adult eyes to support youth safety and engagement -Provide positive leadership, encouragement, and guidance to youth -Assist the YVC Lead with activity flow, group management, and youth participation -Model respectful, inclusive, and community-minded behaviour -Help foster a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment for all participants
Additional Details & Skills Required
Training provided. This position mostly involves evening and weekend commitment
