Peer Volunteer - Abbotsford
The purpose of the Peer Volunteer is to work with the professional care team to enhance the quality of life of the child with a progressive, life-threatening illness and their siblings while at Canuck Place. Peer Volunteers interact with children on our program as a companion and engage in activities such as reading, arts & crafts, music, and games! Peer Volunteer shifts are available daily at the following shift times: 9:00am - 12:30pm, 1:00pm - 4:30pm, 4:30pm - 8:00pm, and 5:30pm - 8:30pm. Due to the needs of the house, we ask that volunteers are able to commit to one (3 hour) volunteer shift on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
