Poly Sci Students/Activists - Help Change Laws to PROTECT KIDS ONLINE!!

We are DEFEND, a nonprofit looking to reduce risks for kids and vulnerable people online.

We are looking to change laws, put forward/table petitions to the federal and provincial governments across Canada with the sole purpose in fulfilling our mission. 

Our Advocacy Team is in charge of creating petitions, lobbying, bringing awareness to the team's issues and engaging with the general public to increase awareness. This may also include helping to support rallies, protests or other awareness events. 

Serious candidates only. 2-3 hours per week volunteering is ideal. Should have knowledge of the political landscape and speak/read English well.
