ElderDog Canada - Pawd Leader - Calgary

Ongoing
ElderDog Canada has vacancies in some of our chapters or Pawds across Canada and is ready to welcome new volunteer leaders to this rewarding and meaningful role. ElderDog is a 100% volunteer-run, national charity dedicated to ageing people and ageing dogs. ElderDog:
• helps seniors in the care and well-being of their canine companions;
• re-homes older dogs who have lost their human companion due to illness, relocation or
death;
• supports research and educates people including health professionals about the human-
animal bond and the significant role of companion animals in the health and well-being of seniors.

ElderDog operates in chapters or Pawds in communities across the country. The structure of each Pawd includes a leadership team of program coordinators, volunteers in non-leadership roles, and a Pawd Leader who provides overall leadership and serves as a liaison with National Office.
