VOLUNTEER Fundraising Coordinator - VIRTUAL/REMOTE

1 year committment minimum
As a Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator for "Take a Pain Check," you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's mission by leading fundraising efforts to ensure the availability of resources for our pain management initiatives. This role involves coordinating various fundraising activities, engaging with donors and supporters, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Identify potential fundraising opportunities, events, and campaigns that can generate financial support.
Plan, organize, and execute fundraising campaigns and events, both online and offline.
Coordinate logistics, timelines, and resources required for successful campaign execution.
Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and supporters.
Communicate the organization's mission and impact to potential and existing donors.
Express gratitude and acknowledgment to donors for their contributions.
Manage the organization's online fundraising platforms, including crowdfunding websites and social media donation channels.
Create compelling online fundraising campaigns, posts, and updates to engage supporters.
Identify relevant grants and funding opportunities for pain management and healthcare organizations.
Prepare grant proposals and applications, highlighting the organization's projects and impact.
Collaborate with other team members, volunteers, and external partners to maximize fundraising efforts.
Provide guidance and support to volunteers involved in fundraising activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and fundraising data using appropriate tools or software.
Generate regular reports on fundraising progress, donor engagement, and campaign outcomes.
Participate in raising awareness about rheumatic diseases and related issues through various channels, such as public speaking, workshops, and community events.
Monitor fundraising trends and strategies to stay up-to-date with best practices in the nonprofit sector.
Continuously seek opportunities to optimize fundraising efforts and enhance donor relationships.

Qualifications:

Passion for the mission of "Take a Pain Check" and a strong belief in the importance of effective pain management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with donors and supporters.
Organizational and project management skills to plan and execute fundraising campaigns.
Familiarity with online fundraising platforms and social media for digital campaigns.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
Strong attention to detail and data management skills.
Previous experience in fundraising, event coordination, or nonprofit work is a plus.
