Tabletop Volunteer (Friendly visitor)

CapitalCare is looking for Tabletop Volunteer (Friendly visitors') volunteers in our Long-Term Care Centre, it's ongoing evening volunteer role to engage one-one visits or small group with our residents on scheduled basis from 3pm- 5pm or from 6pm-7:15pm. 

• Suggested activities may include Tabletop games, card games, Knitting, Fingernail Paint, visiting walking and socializing.
• Listen to and provide support to residents.
• Establish rapport with residents.
• Promote a sense of wellbeing and contribute to the morale of the resident.
Great for people 16+
