Commitment: Fridays, 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm Responsibilities: Bartending: Prepare and serve beverages, including non-alcoholic drinks, beer, and wine, to residents during Pub Nights. Customer Service: Interact with residents in a friendly and engaging manner, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience during the event. Setup and Cleanup: Assist with setting up the pub area before the event, including arranging tables and chairs, and help in cleaning up afterward. Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the bar area is kept clean and organized throughout the event. Verify Age: Adhere to legal age requirements when serving alcoholic beverages, and request identification if necessary. Assist Residents: Assist residents, clients, and customers who may need help accessing the bar or choosing beverages. Handle Payments: If applicable, manage cash transactions for beverage sales and keep accurate records. Report Issues: Communicate any issues, concerns, or suggestions related to Pub Nights to the designated coordinator. Adhere to Policies: Follow all relevant policies and guidelines related to the serving of alcohol and the overall conduct during Pub Nights. Requirements: Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old. Experience: Previous bartending or customer service experience is a plus but not required. Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of residents. Reliability: Commit to the scheduled Pub Nights every Friday from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Physical Ability: Able to stand for an extended period and lift moderate weights for setup and cleanup. Team Player: Work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable Pub Night experience.
