Meal Experience Companion ***All volunteers must be fully vaccinated***

2 hours / weekly
Minimum 3 months
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
•	Engage residents in preparing dining room for service including setting tables, looking after centerpieces, ensuring coffee cart is stocked, pouring drinks as instructed by staff
•	Provide companionship and verbal cuing for residents as required during meals
•	Clearing tables at the end of meals
•	Volunteer may also be asked to participate in the mealtime experience quality improvement group.
Additional Details & Skills Required
General Orientation to the Volunteer Services and specific Orientation to the Unit and the positions’ key responsibilities will be provided.
