Recreation Space Crew Member

Are you looking for a unique way to support the community? 

We are recruiting volunteers to help ensure that the Rec Space equipment is in good condition meeting safety standards. Crew members will also ensure that the equipment is put together and set up ready for participant/program use. The equipment will then be taken down by the Rec Space Crew Members ready for the warehouse team to take into storage when not in use.  

Key Accountabilities: 

-Monitor and update equipment inventory records; 
-Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance; 
-Assemble equipment ensuring that it is ready for the participants to use safely; 
-Disassemble equipment and ensure that equipment is ready for warehouse staff to safely store equipment in the warehouse; 
-Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and troubleshoot any problems that arise; 
-Make recommendations for new or replacement equipment; and
-Other relevant Rec Space duties as assigned.
