Recreation Facilitator

The Recreation Facilitator will provide programs to the residents at the Centre of Hope. Volunteers will create engaging program plans to encourage residents to take part in the activity. The volunteer will organize and lead fitness classes, and other sporting activities such as basketball, table tennis, and foosball tournaments. The purpose of the volunteer position is to encourage residents to engage with the community and lead a healthy lifestyle.  This role requires someone who is always respectful of all abilities, cultures, lifestyles and backgrounds and can maintain a strict level of confidentiality. This is a challenging and rewarding volunteer opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents.

Time Commitment: Volunteers will commit to a minimum of one 2-hour shift per week for a minimum of 6 months, additional time may be required for developing program plans. The shift time is flexible and will be determined based on the volunteers availability.
