Event Support: Ride of Courage - 3 Day cycling fundraiser!

Kids Cancer Care offers programs to address the unique needs of children affected by cancer and the families who love them. Our programs are uniquely designed to meet the needs of the whole family at each stage of the cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. The foundation helps Alberta children and families by providing funding and programs in these key areas: Camp and Outreach; Research and Hospital; and Education Support and Scholarship programs.

Ride of Courage is a three day cycling event that raises funds to send kids to camp! Cyclists fundraise and then take on the challenge of riding between 100 and 200 kilometers each day.  Your volunteer support ensures the success of this event. This is how you can get involved:

Volunteer Roles
- Rest stop: set up and tear down of rest stop, provide food and beverages for cyclists and cheer on the cyclists
- Crew: organize and stock trucks that support rest stops
- Bus support: ride the bus that supports cyclists along the route, help with transfers of cyclists from one point along the route to another
- Home base: Assist with set and tear down of race start and finish site
- Signage: Assist with collecting signage from the route at the end of each day
