Cerebral Palsy Association, Calgary "Funding Request Program Committee" volunteer member.

This Funding Program assists Albertans with cerebral palsy to achieve a better quality of life by providing financial support to cover costs of essential everyday needs, including adaptive equipment, camps, treatments, medications, etc. 
The Funding Program Committee comprises of up to 10 volunteers who are not connected to the disability community, can provide neutral feedback and approvals on submitted applications.

Time Commitment
-Available to commit up to 2 hours per month for 10 months (September – June - 1 hour meeting and approximately 1 hour to review applications prior to the meeting.
 
Requirements 

The Funding Request Program Committee volunteer must:
-	Not to be connected to the disability community.
-	Committed to giving back to the community.
-	Comfortable with online communication tools (meetings over ZOOM)
-	Follow policies and procedures (training provided)
-	Able to join from all over the province, as monthly meetings will be 
        conducted online.

Working Conditions :  On-line meetings (Zoom) 

Screening 
•	Resume if available, 2 references, signed volunteer and confidentiality agreements, policies, and waiver forms, all part of our in-house application form. 
•	Interview if applicable.
