Affinity Mentorship Foundation (AMF) is a dynamic mentoring program located in Calgary, AB, dedicated to empowering youth at-risk of or already involved with the justice system. As a charitable society, AMF focuses on providing effective, impactful mentorship-based programs that support youth in managing change and planning for the future.
Recognizing the gaps in services for youth involved in the justice system, AMF was founded to provide a continuum of support. While youth may receive supportive services during custody, these often end upon release, contributing to the cycle of youth incarceration. AMF aims to break this cycle by offering ongoing support to help youth develop healthy relationships, build community connections, and envision a new future.

Opportunity: Join Our Fundraising Committee
AMF is seeking passionate individuals to join our fundraising committee. As a member of the committee, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by organizing fundraising events, such as silent auctions, and developing strategies to secure financial resources. Your efforts will directly contribute to providing ongoing support to youth in need and helping them build brighter futures.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with committee members to plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns.
* Assist in identifying potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
* Help develop fundraising strategies to meet financial goals.
* Promote AMF’s mission and fundraising initiatives within the community.
* Attend committee meetings and provide input on fundraising strategies and initiatives.
* Assist in soliciting donations and sponsorships for events.

Qualifications:
* Passion for empowering youth and making a positive impact in the community.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
* Experience in fundraising or event planning is an asset but not required.
* Willingness to commit time and effort to support AMF’s fundraising efforts.
